From Glasgow

From Glasgow, join the M8 and follow it West. At Junction 30, take the M898 north (which becomes the A898) and follow this to Old Kirkpatrick. Turn left on to the A82 and stay on the road until Tarbet. At the junction, take the A83 to Inverarary. As you enter the village, turn right on to the A819 and follow the road north. Once you go over the railway, you will come to a T-Junction with the A85. Turn left onto this road and follow the A85 to Oban.
